On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse swept across North America, providing a spectacular show for millions of people. i was lucky enough to have an engaged pair of clients plan their wedding around this event, as well as hire me to travel to new york city to photograph their wedding day including the solar eclipse. a total solar eclipse is when the moon completely covers the sun, tracing a path of totality across the world. new york experienced several minutes of midday darkness, a rare and awe-inspiring phenomenon that i feel so lucky to not only have witnessed and captured but to be hired to do so was really fucking cool.
